A Few Words About Us

In 2003 Synergy Rehab Technologies’ Research and Development Team began development of a gel that would mimic the characteristics of human fatty tissue.  A product that, from a pressure reduction perspective, would possess the positive properties of polyurethane gels without the negative effects such as the pungent chemical odors and hardening in cold temperatures.  From this extensive research and development Synergel™ was developed and has been proven to provide the best pressure reduction while also working well in stopping vibration and absorbing impact.

Synergel™ is lighter than polyurethane gels, odorless and DOES NOT change durometer or hardness in extreme hot or cold temperatures.  For these reasons, Synergel™ has become known as the premier gel or polymer material used for pressure reduction and comfort.

Our goal of ‘Bringing Comfort To Life’ drives everything we design and produce.  We understand how important it is for your patients to have the lowest interface pressures, effective positioning and the highest level of comfort.  Synergel™ provides the best relief possible.  Our commitment is to design products that are engineered to appropriately address the real issues faced in the challenging environment of Rehab.  We are leaders in developing applications that are unavailable anywhere else.  We pledge to continue to research, educate and design products that change lives and assist you in serving your patients.

We Design and Manufacturer Products for:

  • Wheelchair Seating and Positioning
  • Operating Room Positioners
  • Recreational Seating
  • Fall Protection
  • Hot and Cold Therapy

Synergy Rehab Technologies welcomes challenges; we have the R & D engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance to finish every project from concept to market.  Using state-of-the-art equipment, materials and processes we produce products of the highest quality which are manufactured in America and within budget.

Synergy Rehab Technologies was incorporated in 2003 to develop a silicone material that functioned like human fatty tissue.

Our goal was to develop the best material in the world to reduce pressure, vibration and impact. The key features of Synergel™ are:

• Medical Grade Silicone material

• Latex, Plasticizer and Isocyanate free

• Able to bond to wood, metal, foam, fabric and some plastics

• Durometer ranges from 0 (oo) to 10 (A) scale

• 3 Dimensional Shape

• Passes CAL 117 fire testing

• Absorbs up to 94.5% of impact in 1/4″ thickness

• Will not change softness in extreme hot or cold environments

• Elongation to 300%

• ISO 9001 Standards

• Hypoallergenic/Odorless

Development of Synergel™ Dynamic Flotation Polymer was completed in 2004. Physical characteristics of the proprietary material were developed to mimic performance of human fatty tissue. With the development of Synergel™ the superior qualities which serve the pressure distribution, impact, absorption, and vibration dampening industries, word circulated quickly and Synergy Rehab Technologies began serving the OEM market.  Soon to follow was the development of the Dimensions™ line of products bringing comfort and relief to patients around the world; whether it be in rehab, business, transportation or recreational markets.

The superior quality of Synergy Rehab Technologies products and services has gained a reputation that fueled expansion into highly specialized areas of need which expanded the customer base that now ranges from Canada, to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and most recently into Japan. We are meeting the need for an ever expanding range of specialty products such as the wide range of new products from air boat cushions, lateral stump pads, elbow pads, and toilet seat covers.

Continued Synergy Rehab Technologies’ growth and expansion is reflected with products now featured in pharmacies, HME and catalog stores. Recent additions of sales representative’s nationwide, investment in infrastructure and supply chain management will insure that Synergy Rehab Technologies maintains the highest level of customer service and continuous quality improvement in the industry.
